Our base is located at 230 Green Valley Road El Dorado Hills CA 95762. Locally we service all of Sacramento county, the greater Northern California region and long-distance moves across the state, neighboring states and beyond.
2. Do you offer both local and long-distance moves?
Yes! Whether you're moving across town, across California or out of state, our team provides the same professional, punctual, and polite service.
3. Are you licensed and insured?
Brown Box LLC is fully licensed through the State of California, and our insurance coverage, provided through Enterprise, helps protect your belongings in the event of any damage during the move.
4. What types of moves do you handle?
We offer relocation services for residential and commercial moving services. This includes homes, apartments, dorms, offices, retail spaces, and even multi-unit properties.
5. Do you provide packing services?
Yes, we offer secure packing and pre-move services using eco-friendly materials.
6. How far in advance should I book my move?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving seasons. However, we’ll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests.
7. Do you charge double drive time?
No, we will never charge double drive time for local or long-distance moves.
8. What if I already submitted a quote and have questions?

9. How will my initial and final property be protected against damage?
To prevent damage in high-traffic areas, we use door frame protectors and carpet coverings to shield entryways and flooring from scuffs or stains. All furniture is carefully wrapped in moving blankets and then shrink-wrapped for added protection during loading, transport, and unloading.
10. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments through Square readers, making it easy and secure to pay on-site. For online transactions, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay — please note a 2.6% processing fee applies to these digital payments. We also gladly accept cash payments, with no additional fees applied.
